Weight Painting
This project began with a hand-painted illustration created in Clip Studio Paint, which was then imported into Blender for modeling and animation. The scroll was rigged using a custom bone setup and manually weight painted to ensure fluid, wave-like motion.
A dampened track was added with an influence of 0.800 and driven by noise modifiers—using bezier interpolation for natural movement and sinusoidal interpolation for a subtle looping float effect via an empty parent cube.
All materials were built with procedural textures in Blender. Post-processing was completed in After Effects, where I added glow lighting, Gaussian blur, hue/saturation adjustments, noise grain, and cinematic color grading via Lumetri. Final editing and sound design was completed in Premiere Pro.

Original ACPC "Rabbit Shrine Cleansing Area" 3D model.
This piece is a faithful, hand-modeled 3D recreation of the "Rabbit Shrine Cleansing Area" featured in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Modeled and textured from scratch, the goal of this project was to deepen my experience with stylized environment art, sculpting, UV unwrapping, and texture painting across Blender and Clip Studio Paint.
The rabbits were sculpted and retopologized manually to preserve charm and silhouette accuracy, with attention to form, posture, and surface rhythm. Textures were hand-painted, layered, and exported for both the basin and it's ornamental carvings, including sakura petals and stone etching.
The background was animated using parallax motion via a custom node setup in Blender to simulate a soft, drifting ambient effect inspired by the original game environment.
Software Used: Blender 4.2, Clip Studio Paint, and Photoshop
Timeframe: ~3 days
Notes: This project is a non-commercial fan recreation. The purpose was technical and artistic growth through study and homage.
